Thanks for the replies, it's my first year in the buff. I thought I was maybe braving it today and it was quite a pleasant 16.

For us its easier to say when

For us its easier to say when we go naked on UK beaches which is probably just July, August and possibly if good, september. Too frigging cold in this country otherwise, we're naturists not masochists! We've been naked from April to October in southern europe (and in January in NZ (...but I guess that's cheating).

We went down to Morfa in

We went down to Morfa in January 2010, lovely clear still sunny day and I just had to strip off, it was 24F (-5C) There was ice coming down the river in to Barmouth !  But in the sun it was really nice ,just bl**dy cold on the feet.

Strangly Lyn didnt join me Smile

Made a point of going down

Made a point of going down to Studland on New Years Day - even took a dip in the water. Actually it felt warmer in the water than it did on the beach

Me and the cocker spaniels

Me and the cocker spaniels walked from Blackgang Chine to Atherfield point on the IOW there were a group of four naturists and a family of four otherwise we only passed one other person and returned to an empty beach and carpark a lovely day.

Correct would be more

Correct would be more interesting along the road I probably would have got a mention in the local paper like a resident complained about seeing nude people on the beach when he took his three daughter there a few years ago, but a lot easier with the spaniels just scampering freely along the beach and time to ourselves.

Must admit hate the cold I

Must admit hate the cold I try to get to my beach ending March early April on a sunny day between the rocks at fairlight cove East Sussex u can feel quite warm but 20c is a good starting temperature I think. Even though I hate the cold on my bucket list is to be naked outside when cold when I am brave enough
